Content search retries skipped files and flags an incomplete index

Content search now retries files that were previously skipped because they were not downloaded, or whose text could not be read. Recovery runs in bounded batches when All Files opens. If a file is still unavailable, download it in Finder or Explorer, search in All Files, and choose Retry skipped and failed files.

Search results show when the content index is incomplete, with persistent indexing errors and a retry action. Large-library searches avoid repeated catalog scans when combining filename and content matches. NameQuick does not download cloud files automatically, and text recognition stays on your computer.

New migrations from the old Mac app preserve more Preset content, cleanup rules, legacy custom prompts and supported global settings. Imports retry transient write failures and name items needing attention. Watched folders stay paused when their Preset contains unsupported behavior, including when duplicate Presets are merged. Migration completes only after its report is saved. A failed first sign-in retains the device-slot handoff for a later sign-in with the same license. Previously completed migrations are not automatically rerun.

Settings supports all 30 legacy output-language choices, so imported selections remain available.
