This is a first-party source audit, not an installer test. Renamer.ai v4.6.0 was released August 6, 2026. Current pages conflict on Linux, fully local or offline desktop processing, image metadata and review-before-automation. The July 24 Privacy Policy controls this page's privacy wording: desktop files are not stored by Renamer.ai, but content is sent to unnamed AI subprocessors. The site claims 30+ formats without a complete canonical list. Formal OS and architecture requirements, desktop size limits, exact collision behavior and timestamp preservation remain undocumented.
