A rename pack bought on namequick.app now always shows up in the app, and a watched folder tells you plainly when a scan has found new files.

Release date: 2026-10-17

ImprovedImproved

• When a scan of a watched folder finds new files that arrived while NameQuick wasn't watching, you see one notice saying how many there are, and you can rename them or leave them as they are. Nothing is shown when there's nothing to decide.
• The folder's row in the sidebar shows how many files are waiting, and each file says "Found in a scan · not renamed yet".
• In Settings → Folders, each watched folder now has "Files found in a scan" with "Ask first" or "Rename them".

FixedFixes

• A rename pack now shows up in the app even if you once tried the free Self-Managed trial with the same email. Before, the app kept showing the trial and the pack's renames couldn't be used.
• When the AI has no answer for a part of a name, that part now stays empty. Before, words like "null" or "N/A" could end up in the file name.
• On a Mac, a folder you watch through a linked path (for example a folder under /tmp) renames new files again. Before, they were left as they were without a word.
