#What GetMyInvoices Does Well

GetMyInvoices is a cloud-based platform that collects invoices from various sources. Its central strength is automatic fetching from online portals: according to its website, there are over 10,000 ready-made connections. Once connected, the service checks the sources regularly for new documents and imports them.

On top of that come text recognition that reads invoice data, and handover to DATEV via the DATEV Marketplace as well as to many accounting programs. For portals with two-factor login, GetMyInvoices has offered a desktop app since February 2026. According to its website, over 20,000 customers use the tool.

In short: if a large share of your receipts sits in many fixed portals, GetMyInvoices plays to its strength.

#What GetMyInvoices Costs

According to the pricing page, on monthly billing, as of 2026-09-28:

The pricing page lists a discount for annual billing. Larger companies and tax firms have separate plans from €499 per month.

What that means for a normal month: with 100 to 150 receipts, Standard with 80 documents is no longer enough, and you end up on Professional at €99.

#Where the Portal Approach Reaches Its Limits

These are not vendor faults but properties of the approach:

Portals change. Every connection is an integration against someone else's website. If the login or layout changes there, the connection can break until it is updated. In the worst case an invoice goes missing without anyone noticing.

It finds what is connected. The hardware store, the business lunch, or the new software vendor without a portal connection do not show up on their own. Whether every payment has a receipt only becomes clear when you reconcile against the account, and that starts with the €39 plan.

Price grows with documents. More receipts push you into the next plan, even if you do not need the extra portals and accounts.

#The Other Starting Point: the Bank Account

Newer tools reverse the order. They start from each payment on the business account and look for the matching receipt: in the mailbox, in e-invoices, and only then in the portal. That way it is clear from the start which payment still lacks a receipt.
