This update improves privacy for Self-Managed renames that use your own OpenAI API key.

  • Every request NameQuick sends to OpenAI now asks OpenAI not to store it (store: false). Your files and the suggested names are no longer kept in your OpenAI account's request logs after the rename completes.
  • This applies to renames, structured extraction and the API key check alike. Nothing else changed.

The Windows package also moves to 3.0.8 to keep the shared updater feed working. If you use a NameQuick subscription instead of your own key, nothing changes for you in this release.
