Safer Watch Folders on network drives. NameQuick now pauses scanning when a network share disconnects, keeps its library entries intact, and resumes checking the folder when the share returns.
Smoother processing for PDF batches. NameQuick now prepares PDFs for AI in the background and uses less memory, keeping the app responsive when you add many PDFs at once or process them through a Watch Folder.
Less automatic network traffic for NAS folders. NameQuick now avoids reading entire files from SMB and AFP storage during background indexing and startup maintenance, while keeping those files visible in your library.

Fixed PDF pages being resized or clipped on macOS 26. NameQuick now preserves each page’s original dimensions when preparing PDFs for AI, including landscape and other non-standard page sizes.
Fixed NAS files being processed again after reconnecting. Remounting an SMB share no longer makes every file appear changed, reapply rules across the folder, or repeat completed NameQuick renames.
Fixed misleading errors for disconnected drives. When a disk or network share is unavailable, NameQuick now tells you to reconnect it instead of suggesting that the files were moved or deleted.
