Quick Start
Install NameQuick, add a folder, and run your first rename in minutes.
Get NameQuick running in a few minutes. You will install the app, add a folder, and run Smart Rename or a Preset once to see the workflow.
1. Install and launch#
Download NameQuick for macOS and open it.
2. Add a folder#
Click + next to Folders in the sidebar and pick a folder you want to process (Downloads is a great start).
3. Choose a mode#
Pick the workflow that matches your files:
- Smart Rename for fast, descriptive names. See Smart Rename.
- Presets for consistent naming patterns. See Presets.
4. Run and review#
Select a few files and press Play. Review the proposed names, then apply. You can always undo.
5. Automate with Watch Folders#
Turn on Auto for a folder to process new files automatically. See Watch Folders and Rules.
